We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Matsqui, Katzie and Semiahmoo people. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.

This week in worship we hear of a time of great peace – when the lion shall lie down with the lamb. Our older testament promises a time when peace shall override even animal instincts – when the lion shall eat hay like an ox. This peace was promised thousands of years ago – yet it can still give us hope today! This Sunday let us remember the hope that peace can bring, and celebrate our work as peacemakers in the world.
